TThis morning in Science, we experimented with different liquids. We tested oil and then soap to see if we could put as many drops on the penny as water. For most people, the oil and soap spread out and less drops could fit on the penny. We wonder why?
In the afternoon we learned more about the artist Norval Morriseau and observed various pictures of his art work. We began recreating his art using a picture as a guide. The challenging part was enlarging the size and then using glue to trace the lines. We will continue with this project using chalk pastels.
At the end of the day we listened to the story, Mr. Peabody's Apples. It is a story about the power of our words and having the courage to apologize and forgive.
