In Social Studies, students have been asking so many curious questions and have been wondering about the Confederation Bridge. We learned that it was built in 1997 and calculated that was 20 years ago. We also learned that it takes 10 minutes to drive across the bridge which joins P.E.I and New Brunswick. In our ABCs of Acadia work we wrote: B is for the boats that the Acadians sailed in across the Atlantic Ocean. As well, many questions have arisen about shipwrecks and the Titanic. Our learning continues ...
In math we compared our scores from our first round of Bunko. We sorted them from greatest to least and then figured out the difference between 2 numbers. Some people used addition to calculate the difference while others subtracted. Our highest score was 141and our lowest score was 26.
