We would also like the students to:
1) Wear a purple shirt ( green or white if your child doesn't have purple one).
2) Donate a loonie, toonie or more.
We have been working on a dance in gym which all of the Evergreen students will be doing together before our walk in the community and part of Fish Creek Park.
In class we have been writing our 'exact instructions' for our magnet game. When we are done we have the opportunity to share / explain our game to our classmates. Students also have the chance to play each other's games.
In math we have been working on a Bowling Problem. We have been using a 'trial and error' strategy. We have also been persisting to solve it. When an immediate solution isn't obvious we've also needed to be flexible and try another way. The problem is:
Your class is going bowling. Arrange all your classmates into bowling lanes so that:
* Every bowling lane has 4 or less bowlers in it
* No bowling lane has just 1 girl or just 1 boy in it
How many lanes do you need?
