Today we listened to the book What is Peace? and discussed Remembrance Day.
The book asked a lot of questions such as:
Is peace tame?
Is peace wild?
Is it captive?
Is it free?
We also made a poppy wreath for our Remembrance Day assembly on Thursday.
In the afternoon, we continued thinking about Stoplight questions and brainstormed questions about the Inuit and Nunavut such as:
Why and how did they make an inukshuk?
How did they cut blocks for an igloo and why doesn't the top block fall in?
Why is it so cold in Nunavut?
