This afternoon, two students from Grade 4 came to our class to share with us about the school wide composting program which starts Monday. We have a container to put our fruit and vegetable leftovers. Then, the compost will be put in a larger bin outside that will be picked up. We will still need to keep some leftovers to feed our classroom worms. We got to look at (and touch if we wanted to) our own red wiggler worms. There are so many! There were also lots of eggs.
We also worked very hard concentrating on our last WeDo projects. We are excited to share our videos at Student Led Conferences in a few weeks. Many of us made a crocodile, drill, dancing birds, boat and plane.
