Hello to all the parents out there,
Today we started our day by making some crazy animals. Some had horns. Some had too many eyes. Some had hands and feet and hooves and tentacles. It was lots of fun to make them. Tomorrow we're going to write about them.
Afterwards we worked on our words and then moved on to math where we continued to practice our skip counting, adding and subtracting skills.
In the afternoon we talked about different types of boats and some boat terms.
The last thing we did was start making a super secret art project. Ooooooooooooo. Pretty mysterious, no?
Just a reminder, Mr. Knitter and Mrs. Goodall need our help to collect and bring in the following items:
-bottles and jars with screw caps
-yogurt containers and lids
-styrofoam
-straws
-milk cartons (plastic and carton)
-cork ( e.g. from wine bottles)
Have a corking night,
The Grade 2s.
