We started the day writing about the silly creatures we created yesterday. We are working on making sure we don't miss any important details, that we use similes and juicy words, and that we have an interesting beginning.
After writing, we read in our groups while Mr. Knitter and Mrs. Goodall read with different students.
For Math, we worked on ordinal numbers (first, second, third etc.) and making numbers.
After lunch, we had gym and then we finished the day with Social. We worked with the Buffalo kits again.
Mr. Knitter and Mrs. Goodall need our help to collect and bring in the following items for our boat unit:
-bottles and jars with screw caps
-yogurt containers and lids
-styrofoam pieces
-straws
-milk cartons (plastic and carton)
-cork ( e.g. from wine bottles)
Also, May 3rd is “Hats on for Mental Health Day” and we will be encouraging staff and students to wear a hat to show support for this cause.
Have a great night!
