Dear Parents,
This morning we started off with gym. On Fridays we have gym together with Mrs. McLarty's class. We like having gym with different people throughout the week. When we came back we had an "Inuit Treasure Hunt". We had a picture of an Inuit scene and had to find the different artifacts that we recognized from the Glenbow Kit. When we found the item, we colored it and then created a legend with the name and purpose of that artifact. We then read a story called, "The Polar Bear Sun". Ask me what lesson I learned from that legend. After snack we had music. When Mrs. Stanford picked us up from music she could hear laughing down the hallway. It must have been a fun activity! We ended the day by writing our weekly letters to you. Please remember to write back to us. We like to hear how amazing we are :)
This afternoon is the Halloween Howl - we hope that everyone enjoys their time!
Monday is Halloween! We can wear our costumes with some exceptions:
We are really in need of more volunteers for both groups when we go to the Open Minds field trips to Telus Spark and Art Commons. Each group needs 5 volunteers per day for five days. If there is anyway you can help us out, and haven't talked to us already, please let us know!
Have a great weekend!
Love,
The Grade Twos
