Dear families,
Important notices:
Today we described what we thought would happen if our own house ran out of water (or the school, the city, or the world). Then we saw videos about people that don't have clean water and they have to drink dirty water. Sometimes they die; we learned that someone dies every 15 seconds from not having clean water to drink. We can help by donating to foundations that help people around the world.
We did 1-2-3 draw. We drew a picture of the water cycle and the water cycle in Calgary. Calgary doesn't get that much rain because the mountains cause a rain shadow and mountains block a lot of the rain.
We did BUILD in math.
We typed up our artist statements in Google docs. The grade 4s helped us!
We started hockey in gym. We learned how to control the ball/puck.
In Wonder Wednesday, we learned about other planets that may have alien life. We also found out how chocolate was made.
Have a great evening!
Love,
The Grade 2s
