Dear Families,
Today we started the day with the other half of our gym and science flip flop. We are learning a new game in gym and it is pretty tricky. Ask me to tell you about it. When we came back to class we worked on new spelling patterns from Mr. Bowers. We are looking at the different sounds that the suffix ed makes( t/d/id) Then we were detectives investigating author biographies form the backs of books. We did a chalk talk looking at different samples and trying to discover what they have in common. We are going to use this to help us in our next writing assignment. After snack and recess we got another chance to use our Buffalo Kit. We looked at two new artifacts. We chose one of them to write about and sketch in our sketchbooks. In the afternoon we started with a 123 Draw in our sketchbooks that we are going to turn into some Social Studies writing later. Ask me what we drew today. After that we worked some more on our sea form designs. The criteria was to do 2 designs in pencil and pick one to develop into a final design with color that we are going to turn into our final sea form project. At the end of the day we had circle.
