Hello Families!!
Welcome to our new BLOG site. Our Grade 2 team has created a new website where you will find BLOGS and any other important and/or exciting information all in one place.
Very Important Reminder:
Tomorrow is the BRIER - please eat a big breakfast, no snacks at the Saddledome. Please do not send money to buy snacks as students will not be able to. School doors open for early entry at 745 so we can be ready to go on the bus right away. Buses are leaving 8am. We will be back for lunch (12pm). Please remember to wear red and white to cheer on the Canada Team.
(No swimming tomorrow. Swimming will resume on Thursday)
Today we had another great morning at swimming. When we returned we found out that our mystery object was a cowboy's spur. We also took a look at a saddlebag.
After lunch we learned a bit more about the Big Four - ask me why Archie McLean, George Lane, Pat Burns, and AE Cross were so important to the Stampede. We created a special page today for the Big Four in our Sketchbooks.
We also did some curling in gym and learned a few more facts about curling before we go to the Brier tomorrow. Ask me what fact I remember. We are super excited to see the BRIER tomorrow.
Sincerely,
Mrs Tipper and The Grade 2s
