Dear families,
Important notices:
This morning we started Teamwork Tuesdays! If you have a problem, like having to work with others, you can write down your problem and the whole class will help give you advice.
Ms. Tang broke a bottle in our science experiment! Yesterday, Ms. Tang brought in a bottle full of water and said she would put it in the freezer. Today the water froze and the bottle broke because the water expanded as it froze. We talked about how expanding ice makes potholes. That's why we need to shovel the snow off our sidewalks so it doesn't freeze and break our sidewalks.
We went to music and did some other parts of the ringmaster and Johnny the tightrope walker.
We learned some new games in math, like Back-to-back and 101 and out! Ask us how to play.
We did literacy and Mrs. Tipper's group got to learn how to take notes for research.
We did yoga.
Have a great evening!
Love,
The Grade 2s
