Dear families,
Reminders:
Today we started with reading stations and then we learned about Pink Shirt Day. Pink Shirt Day is a day where we dress in pink and stand up against bullying in school. It started when a boy wore a pink shirt to school, people started bullying him. We drew pictures and made promises to make the school a safer place for everyone. Ask me what my promise was!
In music we watched a video called Jazzberry Jam. In literacy groups, we started a new poem called "Gravity." Mrs. Tipper's group started on projects on how to help make the world better.
In the afternoon, we did yoga and then worked on our dioramas.
Have a great evening,
Grade 2
