Dear Families,
Today we started with morning routine with Ms. Barchuk right away. Then we had literacy centers. What did I do in literacy today? Ask me. Then we had snack and sharing and recess outside. It was a lovely sunny day to play. When we cam in we did descriptive castle writing. We are working on painting a picture with our words for the reader. In the afternoon we worked on 2 new art projects. One is for the front of a card and the other is the background collage for a portrait inspired by the artist we learned about today. Ask me which artist we were learning about today. (hint: see blog title) We were searching in magazines for letters to form our backgrounds. Some letters are much easier to find than others.
Important Reminders:
Spring Break will start on March 18 for students as March 18 is a professional day for teachers.
**** We are looking for VERY large boxes or pieces of cardboard to use after spring break for some fairy tale building. If you have or have access to REALLY large pieces of cardboard or boxes please let Mrs. Stuart or Mrs. Tipper know. Thanks so much!
