Dear Families,
Today was a busy, big thinking kind of day. We started the day with reading stations and then we worked with Ms. Fuhrman on our Acadian diaries. We are really trying to think about what it would be like to be an Acadian person during the deportation. We are working on our first person writing. Next we had snack and story and recess. We were reading about the history of how boats have changed. When we came in we did another rotation of BUILD for math. In the afternoon we started a new chapter book—I Survived the Titanic. Then we looked at our questions that we started about boats and we thought about what kind of stoplight question they are. Ask me to explain stoplight questions to you. Next we set up our sketchbooks for our first experiment on floating and sinking. At the end of the day
Important Reminders:
We have skating tomorrow! Make sure to dress appropriately.
Thank you to the parents who have volunteered to come with us.
