Dear Families,
Today we started the day with reading. We had our regular music and gym flip flop stations and then we worked on completing our wagons for our acadian dioramas. After snack and story we had our literacy centers. Mrs. Tipper’s group is completing their projects to show parents at conferences. In the afternoon we tried a new calm down technique with Mrs. Tipper. Ask me to tell you about it. Next we had a practice lockdown. Also in the afternoon we did a chalk talk about Acadian food. And we made a new wordle.
Important reminders:
We have student-led conferences all day on Thursday March 23 which means no school for students, except when they are showing their work.
There will be an Usbourne bookfair in the learning commons during conferences if parents are interested in purchasing books.
No School Friday March 24 --- professional day for teachers.
Spring break –March 25- April 2 – No school
Monday April 3 – back to school
