Dear Families,
Today we started the day with reading stations. Then we had literacy centers before snack, story and a quick outside recess. Then we went to see the kindergarten assembly in the gym. When we came back in we had a quick story before gym with Mrs. Stanford’s class. In the afternoon we had silent reading and then we did some art ketchup. Our bear art is really getting along and some of us have started adding details.
Important Reminders:
Tomorrow is our Fairy Tale Film Festival. Families are invited to come watch the world premiere of the grade one films. As this is a premiere students have the chance to dress up for this special event. (we will not be having gym or outside recess tomorrow –and no painting – we promise!) We look forward to having lots of families come to share in our special day.
Tomorrow, during the Evergreen Film Festival we will be selling small bags of Popcorn by donation to benefit the “Do it for Dads” Prostate Cancer Run/Walk. The walk is taking place this Sunday, June 19th and one of our students is participating in the walk! Thank you in advance for your support! Enjoy the shows!
