Today we did another science experiment to learn more about water. We learned a new word: Absorbing. We made predictions and tested different types of papers to see which one absorbed water the most and the least. We also reviewed the Water Cycle and noticed that at recess time there was precipitation in the form of snow since it was cold out. Then before lunch it started to get sunny so we were wondering whether the snow would melt and start evaporating or if it would absorb into the soil up on the field.
In the afternoon we shared different strategies to solve the Dog Sled problem from Monday. Afterwards we had gym where we started with warm up stations. Some of the stations are squats, mountain climbers, yoga poses and scissor jumps. Then we practiced our ball handling skills using basketballs.
Reminders:
1) Return home reading books and Learning Commons books when done. They can be exchanged daily.
2) Students can still access RazKids. The login are still the same as last year. Email Mrs. McLarty if you need the information again.
