We had a wonderful morning! After buddy reading and "ketchup / pickle" time we listened to the story - A Colour of His Own by Leo Lionni. It is a great story about a chameleon learning that it is great to be unique. We created our own chameleon using pencil, black crayon and water colour paints. We only used the primary colours to make green, orange and purple. Ask me what happened when the paint touched the black crayon and what colours I used to make the secondary colours.
Important notes:
1) Please speak with your child about eating or taking home all of their snack. Today we had a whole banana with the top cut off put in the compost - no bites eaten!
2) In the class there is a pair of unclaimed black snowpants with holes in the knees.
3) There is school on Monday. Sorry about any confusion as I noticed I wrote No School on the Sharing Calendar (oops)
