Important notes:
1) Scholastic due tomorrow
2) Hats on for Mental Health on Wednesday - students may wear a hat of their choice. (optional)
3) Bring items to test for sinking / floating (optional)
4) Please send in washed out milk / juice containers (250 ml, 1L, 2L) for an upcoming project.
5) Please ask your child if their indoor shoes still fit or are in good shape.
Today we did lots of hands on activities building. We are learning about Boats and Buoyancy. We used tin foil to see if we could create a shape to make it float and carry a load. Ask me what worked or what didn't work. In math we learned abotu the difference between 2D and 3D shapes. We then created our own using clay, toothpicks, marsh mellows and spaghetti.
