Let's get some new books to enjoy for the wonter break! If your child has had their books from the Learning Commons for awhile please return them so that we can exchange them tomorrow. As well, if your child needs new home reading books, please return those as well.
Today we did a lot of completing and refining the work we've done in our Explorer Journals and Visual Sketch journals for Social Studies and Science. We were improving our work by:
* making sure it makes sense
* including titles and labels
* adding pictures for experiments
We also set up a new experiment in Science. We filled 6 balloons with water. We put 3 outside and 3 in the freezer. We are going to compare if they take the same amount of time to freeze. Once they have frozen we will build an ice snowman. Then we will see how long it takes to melt. The experiment will show how water can change from a liquid to a solid and then back to a liquid. Water is amazing!
