Painting and music filled our day.
This morning we painted and completed our sculptures. We are very excited to bring them home tomorrow. In the afternoon we visited Cathedral Church and listened to Winter songs. There 5 women singing. We also heard a piano, cello and guitar. People from the community who came to listen to the concert commented afterwards how the students listened calmly and respectfully showed their appreciation by clapping.
Near the end of the day, we toured another gathering space for sharing music - The Jack Singer Concert Hall. We were amazed at the size and how it is structured to allow the sound to bounce off so many surfaces. We also went on a neat scavenger hunt throughout the 3 levels of the Jack Singer looking for different types of artwork. One more day of exploring The Arts!
