This morning we enjoyed our first day of Alien In-Line skating. We learned how to put on the equipment properly, listen carefully to instructions, fall forward safely and move from mat to mat around the gym. Most of the rest of the day we worked with our pumpkins. We got 1 pumpkin per group to measure:
* How tall our pumpkin was using unifix cubes.
* The distance around our pumpkin using links.
* How heavy our pumpkin was using a weight scale.
* How many ribs was on our pumpkin.
We also scooped out the seeds which was messy and took a lot of time and cooperation.
Important reminders:
1) Halloween Howl orange form sent home today
2) Students may wear Halloween costumes tomorrow. Please ensure they are appropriate and no toy weapons are sent in.
3) No School Friday
4) Casino Volunteers are needed!!
