Today we continued our learning and exploring about 100. We predicted and tested how many unifix blocks we could put together in 100 seconds. We compared whether our results were greater, less than or the same as our prediction. Most of us could do it faster the 2nd time we tried because we tried a different strategy. We also had literacy and gym-music flip-flop this morning. Ask me about the instrument Mrs. Wright played in Music.
To further explore 100 we also chose from a variety of activities:
* making a melty bead design with 100 beads
* creating a painting with 100 marbles
* stacking 100 cups
* balancing 100 playing cards
* counting & grouping 100 stickers in a design
* organizing numbers 1 - 100 on our 100 carpet
At the end of the day we enjoyed listening to The Gruffalo.
