GO BLUE JAYS!!!!!
This morning we started off with math. We were really excited about the Blue Jays win the night before and decided to solve some baseball problems. One of the questions were:
If a team gets three outs each inning and there are 9 innings in a game (we didn't include the extra innings), how many outs does a team have for the whole game?
Ask me how I solved it!
After Daily 5 we explored the Inuit Artifacts again. This time, we had a chart at the bottom of our journal entry to write down observations. The three topics were: I noticed, I think and I wonder. We also reviewed the criteria for a great journal entry (based on our Leonardo da Vinci observations). Our teachers are really impressed with how respectful we have been with the artifacts!
This afternoon we followed along with another Cosmic Yoga for Kids and then learned about Abstract Paper Structures. We learned some techniques and then set to work on our own masterpieces. They look great! Ask me what kind of techniques I used and what I created!
Have a great evening!

The Grade Twos
ps. Some of us were really chilly at lunch recess today. Please make sure we are prepared for the weather! Thx.
