Dear Parents,
This morning we made and practiced routines on the gymnastics equipment. The routine had to have a balance, a jump, a travel, and a pose. Some of us worked in a group, some of us chose to do it individually. In math we told subtraction stories based on our busses. For example: 10 people were on the bus, 4 people got off. How many are left?
This afternoon we had "Mystery Bags". We used our sense of touch to describe and take guesses as to what was in the bags. We organized our observations into a chart. We also finished our Groundhog poem from yesterday and practiced reading our poems.
We are working towards treating people the way we would like to be treated. Mrs. Stanford and Ms. Watkins even put on a skit!
Scholastic orders are due Friday, February 5th (sorry, we handed them out late!)
Love,
The Grade Ones
