Hello from Grade Two!
We were so happy the weather has improved! It was great to get outside for some fresh air!
Today was a very busy day! We started our day talking about twists on traditional Fairytales. We liked thinking about new endings to stories we know well.
In Math, we wrapped up our unit on Addition and Subtraction of Two-digit Numbers. We are going to bring home some of our work so you can see what we have learned!
In Social, we worked on letter K in the ABc's of Acadia. K stands for King George the II of England. He demanded the Acadians sign an oath of allegiance to the crown. When the Acadians refused, they were deported!
In Science, we continued to talk about our engineering challenge! We are using the scientific method to guide us in the creation of a capsule that will prevent an ice cube from melting. Ask us what a hypothesis is!
Hope you're having a great night!
