Good Evening!
We had a very exciting day today! We spent the morning building our own boats. We had to make sure our boats were made out of waterproof materials, that they could float, and that they could carry a load.
Our ideas were creative and our teachers were so impressed with how well we followed the directions. When our boats were finished, we had a competition to see how many pennies our boats could hold. We had one minute to load our boats with as many pennies as possible. The winning boat held 95 pennies!!!
After lunch, we did some writing about our boats. Then we finished our day with a fun spring art activity.
Reminders:
ALS Walk June 1.
Please Return the field trip forms for Bar U Ranch on June 7.
Please return picture order forms.
Stay Dry!
