Dear Parents,
Today we learned how to count by threes. Using a number line or hundreds chart was helpful. Going over 100 was really hard! We looked for numbers of 3s in the fairy tale stories we read. Some of us went into the Learning Commons and worked on building houses for the three little pigs out of blocks. We learned that when you build puppets, if you put the stick to hold up too far, there isn't much to hold onto.
Did you know there are 23 more days left in March?
We are going to build a kaleidoscope. If you have any paper towel or wrapping paper rolls that are finished, can we bring them to school?
Love,
The Grade Ones
