Dear Parents,
What a wind storm last night! Our poem last week was all about March wind. It looks like it's carrying over to April. On a bright side, with wind comes kites!! We are finishing off our kites and are hanging them in our classroom. It is bright and cheery in our room!
This morning in math we made a graph that showed what our favorite Fairy Tale Challenge was. We voted as a class and then recorded our findings in a bar graph. The Rapunzel challenge was the clear winner! We really liked making a zipline. We then wrote about how we solved problems while working with a partner on the challenges. Did we ask the teacher? Try again? Make compromises? Ask me how I solved problems with my partner!
Have a great evening!
Love,
The Grade Ones
