Dear Parents,
This morning we had our Gym and Music flip-flop. Afterwards we moved right into Daily 5. Ask me what book I am reading during Literacy time. We continued on with our "Double Decker Bus" math. We are learning to visually recognize a number using two strings of beads on an arithmetic rack. The primary strategy when counting with the arithmetic rack is to count groups of 5.
This afternoon we continued building our rooms/tiny houses. We did a quick review about color mixing and then let the students create their own colors for their projects. Some of us even painted our walls!
We hope you enjoy your evening.
Love,
The Grade Ones
