We started our day with word work and then started our second week of dance! It was so fun!
Then, we practiced writing numbers in different ways in Math. After Math, we had Science. We talked about permanent magnets. We learned that magnets have a North and South Poles. When two South or North poles are placed together, they repel. When opposite poles are placed together, they attract.
Finally, we worked on letter P in our ABC's of Acadia. P stands for Prince Edward Island - another area that the Acadians called home.
Friday is our dance performance. We will be performing on Friday at 10:30 am in the gym.
Please bring your home reading books back tomorrow so they can be exchanged for new ones.
****Would you mind packing an extra snack for the afternoon? Our teachers are finding we are hungry and need a break around 1:45. They will be allowing us to have a quick snack break in the afternoons.
As we are doing our staff planning for next year, we would ask that you please fill out this Google Form https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScXnyBjA3Uzm3PFVg0VZCi-WwjekfFoYotmSFZts33z09-Xig/viewform by March 16th. Please only fill the form out for current K-2 students as this year’s grade 3 and 4 students will not be returning to Evergreen School next year.
Love the Grade 2s.
