A few important reminders:
1. Please sign and return the cover of our report card ASAP! Thank you!
2. We've had a lot of misplaced personal belongings lately. If possible, could you please label our mitts, hats, and lunch items (lunch bags, tupperware, etc.). Thank you for your assistance!
Today in Social Studies, we talked about letter B in our ABC's of Acadia adventure. B stands for boats that the French settlers used to immigrate to their new settlement. We drew fantastic pictures of boats and talked about how difficult the travel would have been.
During our Daily Five reading time, we created crossword puzzles with "bossy e" words and had our friends try to solve them. We also read with Mrs. Goodall and Mrs. Stanford. Ask us to list some words that end with a silent e!
In gym, we practiced juggling, tossing and throwing. It was lots of fun!
After Gym, we continued to work on our Acadia Art. We created origami boats to add to our paintings. Learning to fold paper to create something beautiful was a great way to end our day.
We also sent home our weekly letters to you! We would love for you to read them and write something back.
