Dear Parents,
Happy Monday!
This morning we read another version of Hansel and Gretel. While we were reading the story we were thinking about how we could use it to make a math problem. We came up with:
There were 6 types of candies on the Old Ladies Gingerbread House. Hansel had 3 of each candy. How many candies did Hansel eat in total? Gretel had 4 of each candy, how many did she eat in total?
In gym today we worked on stick handling. We worked towards keeping the ball on our stick at all times. Afterwards we played a game of keep away with the teachers.
This afternoon we created a Hansel and Gretel script as a class. We then got into groups of five and acted out the play. Ask me who my character is!
Have a good night!
Love,
