Dear Parents,
Today in music we listened to a song about Lions. Then we had to count how many roars we heard in the song. We counted 6! We also finished sketching our flowers from yesterday and coloured them in with chalk pastels. The most important part when using chalk pastels is to blend! When you blend the chalks together it makes a different colour. The more we blend, the more realistic the colours become. We also wrote our weekly letters to you! Can you tell me one thing that I did better this week in my writing? For example: sticking letters on the lines, punctuation, capital letters and small case letters, finger spaces, giving more details, etc.
Have a fantastic weekend! Enjoy the heat today!
Love,
The Grade Ones
