Dear Parents,
This morning we learned about why the poppy is an important symbol for Remembrance Day. We made three dimensional poppies for our class wreath. Two children will lay the class wreaths during the Remembrance Day assembly on Thursday. Remember there is no school on Friday next week.
Ask me to tell you what we learned in PE and Music today. You can also read about our week and write back to us in our home journals.
We are still looking for more volunteers for our Open Minds fiend trips Dec 5-9. We have about 10 slots filled, but we need 25 spots filled over the course of the week, for each class - we need your help! Please email Mrs. Stanford or Ms. Watkins if you can volunteer one or more days (and have your police clearance done).
Have a wonderful weekend and enjoy the warmer weather,
Love,
The Grade Twos
