Dear Parents,
Today was a big clean-up day! We went through our desks and put away all the books, found lost pencils (so THAT's where they all went!) and took home some of our work. We went outside for gym and played a big game of soccer. We are trying to finish a book that we started called, "Camping Catastrophe". It's about two friends who go camping with one of their dads. None of them have camped before and are finding out important things about camping. For example, they learn that you should probably have the instructions with you when trying to set up a tent and that you don't try to take a "closer look" at a beehive. We are really enjoying this story and are trying to predict what is going to happen next.
Can you believe there are only two, half days left of school?!? This year has flown by! Tomorrow we will be writing our very last letter home for the year and will be bringing some more journals home. We will be taking our indoor shoes home on Monday after the Mudless Mudder. Speaking of which, we are looking for some volunteers to help set-up and supervise the stations. If you are available and have the appropriate police clearance, we would love the help! After the Mudless Mudder, the kiddos will be taking home their Report Cards.
We hope everyone attending the dance today has a great time!
Love,
The Grade Ones
