We had such a fun day at the beach today! We started the day listening to the ocean waves and reading in the sun. Then we worked on our art. Next we played beach math games and learned the term retract and repel in Science. Finally, we finished off the day with some surfing, hula dancing, swimming, beach volleyball, and limbo dancing!
Updates:
Our class will be performing their dance from the dance workshops next Friday at 10:00. All families are welcome to attend.

Screenagers| Growing up in the Digital Age (70min)
Presented by Evergreen School Council at 6:30pm March 16th
Are you watching kids scroll through life, with their rapid-fire thumbs and a sixsecond attention span? Physician and filmmaker Delaney Ruston saw that with her own kids and learned that the average kid spends 6.5 hours a day looking at screens. She wondered about the impact of all this time and about the friction occurring in homes and schools around negotiating screen time—friction she knew all too well.
