We had gym and music back to back. Today we had a fire drill. This time Mrs. Healing timed us and it took 1 minute and 10 seconds to get out of the building. We did a good job staying quiet in our lines, but we can be even faster walking out of the school. We think we can do it in 1 minute, as a goal for next time. We have to make sure everyone is safe!
We are still sharing our favourite books with our classmates. We read a really hilarious one after lunch. It was called Willy Wilson, the Wolf Who Wouldn't Wash. For math we had to figure out a problem with dice to make 4, 7 and 10. We thought 4 was the easiest. We got more than 3 answers for each of them.
We talked about jobs people in our community do...have a discussion with us tonight about what you do. We did a little dreaming about what we would like to do when we grow up.
We are still looking for parent volunteers for Fish Creek tomorrow afternoon (12:30-2:30). If you have your volunteer clearance and are available. please email Mrs. Stanford or Ms. Watkins.
