This morning we focused on the "bossy e" for Team Edit Tuesday and Literacy. As a class we came up with a list of words that follow the bossy "e" pattern (like, bike, ride, hide). During read to someone we looked for words that had a bossy "e" and wrote them in our journals.
In math we continued practicing double digit addition. There is a great website that we can go on at home to practice triple, double and single digit addition. The website is called:
The game that we particularly like is called Baseball Math. It gives you the choice as to the level of difficulty. Check it out!
In the afternoon we made our very first page of our ABC's of Acadia books. We learned that French settlers came to the East Coast of Canada in the 1600's. They named the land Acadia or L'Acadie in French.
